Katie Winstanley

Founder

Hello, I’m Katie Winstanley, founder of CHANGES Medispa and the soon-to-be-open Manor Health Retreat. My mission is to create a serene, out-of-town spa setting where men and women can relax & revive to bring much needed balance into modern life.

With a background in nursing, I’ve always been passionate about exploring alternative therapies to support the body’s natural healing processes, aid recovery, and even prevent illness. This, combined with my love for spas, inspired me to bring my vision to life at The Manor—a perfect blend of holistic wellness, timeless elegance and beautiful natural spa therapies.

Through our treatments and services, I aim to empower women and men alike to feel revitalised, confident, and ready to take on the world.

Whether you’re visiting for a day or staying for an extended retreat, my wish is that you’ll find the tranquility and care you deserve.

"I am in my 10th year in the Beauty Industry, also a familiar face to some at Changes. I am back after 3 years away from Changes Medi Spa but I am excited to be returning and seeing some of my amazing clients as well as gaining some new ones.
My main passion in the Beauty Industry is making people feel their best and making sure they are well looked after, the treatments themselves are just a bonus! I enjoy all aspects of beauty, an all-rounder! From the fluffy treatments like facials and massage, the intense skin treatments as well as the pretty things like brows and nails!"

Jasmine Rufford

Senior Spa Therapist & Head New Definition Brow Artist
Years since Qualifying: 10years

Qualifications: Threading Diploma in the UK in 2014 and has her New Definition Brow® qualification and is an educator in our Brow academy

Beautician’s course in Wellington in 2015.

You can find her here every day working her brow magic. She loves bringing out your natural beauty and is trained in brow lamination and LVL lashes too. She really is the best brow artiste in the industry!

2024 saw her take over the brand and is now designing and bringing to the market New Definition Brow® Products. Her brow wax is storming the country and has 100% positive reviews saying its the best on the Market!

Sara Shelley

Senior Spa Award Winning Therapist.

Years qualified = 4

Qualifications = level 5 diploma

Awards Sara is our Pure Fiji Ambassador and came second overall in the Pure Fiji therapist of the year awards 2024!

This rare beauty is mature, quiet and compassionate.

Sara absolutely loves massage and facials and creating a journey and environment where you can truly relax and unwind.

Her pregnancy massage is so sought after and makes you feel so special and cared for.

Qualifications: Diploma in Beauty Therapy Level 5 last year and previously trained as a Nail Technician and attained Level 4 National Certificate in Nail Technology. I went on to win the INM student nail art challenge

Katies Note: Come see our amazing girl Paige if you want fantastic results with all aspects of beauty therapy. She is passionate about brows and is one of the first brow angels to pass through our brow academy. She is also one of the best for French tip Manicures! We do hope to see more of her this year as her 3 children are growing up fast!

I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the CHANGES team for nearly 3 years in the admin role, and each day brings something new, which is what makes it so exciting! I’m passionate about keeping everything running smoothly, from day-to-day tasks to working alongside our amazing team and clients.

Lanya

Junior Spa therapist

Hi my name is Lanya, I am "nearly a wife!" getting married next year! and a mum of two children. After many years in early childhood I have changed careers, having just finished my level 4 and level 5 diploma in beauty therapy.

Even though I am new to the industry I am very passionate about making people not only feel good on the outside but also the inside. I especially love doing Massage and Facials. In my spare time you can find me either at the gym, in the hills or drag racing. I'm so excited to be working here at CHANGES and I hope to make you all feel beautiful inside and out.

Holly Evans

My name is Holly. I am 20 years old and ready to start my journey at Changes! I have just completed my Level 5 Diploma in Beauty Therapy at UCOL, as well as completing my Level 4 Certificate in Beauty Therapy last year. Some of my favourite treatments include facials and massage, but have a love for all things Beauty Therapy!

Outside of the salon, I usually spend my spare time in the gym, or spending time with family and friends.

I feel strongly about listening to clients’ needs, delivering high-quality treatments, and ensuring they feel comfortable, respected, and well-cared for throughout their visit. I’m very excited to build a clientele and create rapport with my clients.

Holly is from a salon background with the family-run hair salon in Greytown Shine so she knows the importance of clients taking time out to make themselves feel good.

She is Mature beyond her years, fun, and an outstanding therapist. I am expecting great things from this new fresh- out-of-home of- beauty school therapist! One to watch!

Holly is on our New Grad programme and is helping us with the increased workload over the summer and hopefully beyond :)
